About

Why leni exists.

leni began with a sentence we kept hearing from friends, seeing in research, and recognising in our own lives: “I feel off and I don’t know why.” Everyone recognized it. Nothing was built for it.

The belief

Mental health is inseparable from brain health.

And brain health is part of whole-body health.

Women’s health is often reduced to the reproductive system. But your brain is shaped by much more than hormones or reproduction. Sleep, stress, metabolism, relationships, caregiving, work, life stage, and the world around you all matter.

Your brain lives in a body. Your body lives in a life. To understand how you feel, think, and function, we need to look at all three together.

That is the lens leni brings to women’s brain health. Not one symptom in isolation, but the fuller picture behind what you are experiencing.

Because when your brain, body, and life are better understood, you can make choices that support greater clarity, energy, and capacity in everyday life.

The people behind leni

Built from lived experience and women’s brain health expertise.

leni is shaped by two complementary kinds of knowing: the pattern-seeking work of building human-centred systems, and the science-backed practice of helping women understand their minds, bodies, and capacity.

CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT EXPERIENCE

Quinn Simpson

Quinn is a five-time co-founder who has spent nearly two decades building conditions for people to become more fully themselves: in education, coaching, community, childhood, and now women’s brain health.

She co-founded Akosia, Graydin, Gedi Village Foundation, and The Waffle, and trained in sociology and social anthropology at the University of Edinburgh. At leni, she brings that same experience to designing a product experience that helps women navigate complex life-stage change.

Her work is grounded in a central belief: people need language, context, and a private place to begin before they are expected to know exactly what is wrong. She is interested in creating the conditions for people to feel seen, make sense of change, and move forward with more agency.

Why this is personal

For the woman who knows something has changed.

leni is for the moment before a label, a referral, or the right words. It is built for the woman who can feel a pattern but has been asked to explain it from scratch every time. Our work is to help her begin with what she notices, hold the thread over time, and turn private uncertainty into clearer language, better preparation, and more grounded support.

You’re not imagining it. There is a pattern. Meet leni.
